Manning Park is a great place to get away to. They have downhill & lots of cross country runs. Not a lot of eating out options though. So, pack food with you. They have a year round campsite as well, if you have an rv.

Great family friendly hill with amazing snow. Shot lift lines but lots of starting and stopping once on chair due to many beginners riding. As an advanced skier it's not as exciting as I am like but great for families and beginners.

Best place to experience the outdoors of a Canadian winter and all its activities with the family. Snowshoe around frozen lakes, skate at an outdoor rink, hike, ski, sled. Accommodation options include cabins, lodge, and winter camping. A common building has indoor swimming pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna.

A cute little resort and great place to learn to ski without having to pay expensive lift tickets. Not much going on food wise and most skiers tailgate during lunch breaks. 2 chair lifts, nothing fancy. Apres Ski is non existent and more suited for families with young children. Staff and locals are very friendly. Beautiful drive up to the ski hill through Manning Park. Worth checking it out.

Drivable from the coast in a day, quiet mountain. Great snow. Not as busy as local North Van mountains.

Great for the price. Nice powder and friendly staff. Disappointed that their food prices were jacked up this year but their soup is still awesome and reasonable.
The green chair always had a line up, but the blue chair hardly ever has one at all.
I have a season pass for my family as its reasonably priced.

Wonderful experience, nice to go back in time where skiing is affordable and enjoyable.
Its the type a place you dream you were at instead of an overpriced, overcrowded nonsense.

Manning park is great for the convenience for how close it is to the Fraser valley. Also the snow has some of the best for this region (its the driest and usually gets more snow) . The unfortunate thing is its a very small resort in comparison to many other local mountains. However it is much less busy than other local resorts.
It is one of my go to resorts in the Fraser valley because of the snow, the cost, and the convenience. But it could definitely be bigger!

Manning is a gem - although its small it has incredible terrain and snow quality. I will admit Im not a big fan of their blue chairlift as its quite old but their other chair lift is brand new and top of the line. I love this mountain though because theres usually little to no lines and tons of snow, and a great variety of terrain to choose from for advanced skiers. Its a nice rustic experience that feels far removed from the lower mainland. Its well worth the drive!

This is a great hill for families who like a small mountain and community feel. Never more than a 3 chair wait on the blue chair! The resort area has a few out door family activities one restaurant and one pub. If you want to rent a cabin make your own food and want to truly enjoy a quite nature centered resort, this is the place for you.

I have skied manning for a number of years and its an awesome hill to learn on and its great that its only a few hours drive from home so you can go for a day trip. It has a good amount of terrain and it is a great mountain for a couple days but the accommodation and amenities are limited. Even though its lacking in some areas its still a great hill to drive to from the Fraser Valley.

I buy a season pass for a family of six for less than a single person season pass at any other mountain. Its basically free skiing. And its pretty decent!
