This was the first year I've ever been to mont orford. I took my two children 8 and 12. I was amazing by the experience. The hill has ambassadors who are absolutely amazing, helpful, genuine, cheerful. The hill's elevation was everything I could have hoped for and somehow felt even more mountainous than I expected. they also have a 4km green trail from the tip of the peak making family fun even that much more impactful.

I went to Orford last year with my family and some friends and even though it was late season all the slopes were still really fun. The snowpark was my favourite, it's an easy ride to there and there is plenty of jumps and rails for beginners and for more advanced people. It's really a family friendly place and the chalet is really great for having a lot of people there. The lift tdoesnt take much time so you can get a lot of runs.

I have been to mont orford several times. It is an amazing mountain. Snow is always plentiful and lifts always efficient despite the amount of skiers. The apres ski never disappoints and the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this resort for any level of skier! You will be very satisfied with your experience for the money you spend! Amazing value!

It was very cold when we were there. Goldola was a nice break from the cold. Prices were reasonable compared to other resorts in the eastern Canada. Conditions were good - snow making in operation. Icy base by the afternoon. Very reasonable lift lines

Family-friendly Ski Resort with well-kept terrain for all skill levels. There are no line ups during the week, and the gondola move things along nicely on the weekends. The smaller mountain is a nice easy/intermediate area that usually has the best snow and few people. Resonable prices and cheap membership. Good chalet with friendly bar, some good tunes playing sometimes. Magog and Orford have some nice shops, pubs, and restaurants. Nice place to stay if you're spending some time in the Townships.

Went touring at Orford a couple of weeks ago. Beautiful day, snowy, nice paths. Lovely. I guess the only thing would be one route was closed so we could only go down a very specific way.

The view is amazing, im not yet very good so i didn't try the expert slopes or off terrain, but i saw so many people going trought the forest, making jumps, etc. I love that the chair lift is over a double diamond slope you get a little show on your way up:))Overall very good day, parking was easy, cafeteria was fast and had good food, and there was little to no wait for the chair lift. And the view when you go down is insane

It is a great hill, with quality snow and a great community surrounding it! I would attend the hill 3-4 times per week, and would be satisfied by the conditions each time!

Not very many hotel or resort options but Airbnbs are great. Very scenic town on the water. Not a ton of food options. Slopes are great for a group going with many different abilities because there is something for everyone. If you are a morning skiier, it is a lot less busy. It gets a lot busier in the afternoon. The scenery is gorgeous!

This is the mountain where I learned to snowboard and I always love going back. Lots of variety in the difficulty of runs, opportunities to sneak into the woods, and a handful of runs far away from the hustle and bustle of the chalet. Looking forward to going back again soon!

Great Hill, great snowmaking, lots of variance in pitch and length of runs. Highest run has some great views spend a few minutes to take a few pictures, and then challenge yourself on some fairly steep runs to get down. A couple really nice groomer runs that you can cruise through on edge.

Mont Orford is by far my favorite place to ski as my family doesn't go on many ski trips. I love the affordability of the accommodation and the lift tickets but by far the best part about it is the vibe you get from the locals. They all seem like they know the place so well and that makes it very nice when you need to rely on directions and tips for skiing the mountain. My favorite run at Mont Orford is the 4km run because my family uses as a relaxing fun ride but I can still make the most of it using the fun little side runs and the blue glade that runs off the mid section of it. A few years ago, my dad and I rented some touring skis and hiked up the mountain. We then realized where the true fun in skiing is, as I like to say "Earn your turns" because it shows how much each second of downhill is worth when you work so hard to get up. We obviously skied down the 4km run after the long tour up the mountain because in my opinion that is the most "bang for your buck" run on the mountain (as it is the longest). A big factor for my family in deciding where to ski is the accommodation. Mont Orford definitely ticks that box off with their cute Red triangular houses with wood furnaces located near the Parc National Mont Orford. Overall, Mont Orford should be a bucket list slope for you and your family to enjoy. Definitely reccomend! PS: mix coke and lemonade in the cafeteria for a delicious mid day drink... (unless you want some hot cocoa) Hope to see you this year Orford! -David

Orford is a great local mountain that services most of the Sherbrooke greater area. Home to some steep groomers as well as some technical tree runs, it is a great option for a 25 minute drive from Sherbrooke. One area where Orford can struggle is with snow coverage, many glade runs are closed for most of the season and some years will not open at all. It is a great local mountain, however I would recommend another option in the area if you are looking for some east coast pow.

Our family was there over the 23/24 Christmas holiday. Stayed nearby and commuted about 20min. every day for week. Good conditions considering the time of year, groomed pistes with (mostly) artificial snow were very good, of not excellent at times. Lifts were efficient and fast, staff were very friendly. Restaurant/bar was nice, but not exceptional. Really liked the varied ski hill types from easy to difficult, long and short runs, scenic vs runs where you can practise your form. Overall it was a great experience, the family enjoyed the our tine there.

sooo... Mont Orford is a resort at the heart of the Estrie refion in Québec, Canada. Although on the east coast, it offer quite nice snow quality (surely not powder all season long) but hey, it's fun anytime during the season! it consists of 3 main domains, each with a dedicated (quite fast and short line-up) lift, while the main domain, Mont Orford, being a hybrid chairlift/gondola system. many types of pistes are available from bunny hills to double blacks, as well as slalom pistes, tree lines, freeride line, snowparks and moguls. my absolute favourites are the "Grande Coulée", accessible from the main lift, which offers a excellent view of the region while carving your way down, and the "Cascades" which is more of a fun groomed run that has access to some nice tree lines and 'off-pistes'. as a recap, Mont Orford is an excellent resort in the Estrie region that lets people from all levels enjoy their stay!

My favourite mountain in the east. The Orford chair has lots of excellent expert terrain from groomers to cliffs under the chair and hard tree skiing. Some of the steepest runs around.

Orford is a favourite among my friends and I! Only 30 minutes from us, the price is reasonable and the staff and chalet are splendid! The ski school is amazing, the lifts are quite good, and there are a good deal of run option diversity! I did pop a ligament once there, falling, but that was definitely not on them ;)
