Vallnord / Pal-Arinsal combines two distinct areas in Andorra, offering a variety of terrain suitable for beginners, families, and intermediate skiers. The resort is easily accessible with stunning views over its 63km of slopes. The safe learning zones and excellent ski schools are great for families. Park goers can take advantage of a well-equipped snow park which has three lines suitable for different ability levels. Pal-Arinsal also has a vibrant après-ski atmosphere, particularly in Arinsal, with lively bars and restaurants. Its proximity to Andorra la Vella makes it a great choice for combining skiing whilst also exploring the city.

Reviews

Nice resort, interesting alternative to the alps with some good terrain if the snow conditions deliver. Good terrain parks but apres was pretty limited, would be good for a family as a spring ski option as nice and warm too in the valley.

A great budget resort. Limited skiing in Arinsal but pass includes the gondola over to Pal, a larger ski area with tree-lined runs. The ski pass is great value and we found that even if you purchased one or two day passes it still worked out the same cost as if you purchased a six day pass. Great choice of hotels all reasonably priced. Plenty of restaraunts to chose again all reasonably priced. A number of good bars including thr Derry Irish bar and Ciscos. Drinks are well priced and dirt cheap between 4_7pm. Estrella at 2.5 euros and Guiness at 3.5 euros if you go to the right bar. The resort has s nice feel about it and favours those who aren't looking for the thrill of numerous black runs and a really wild apres scene. Best for beginners and intermediates.

Very quiete little resort. Lovely and peaceful with minimal queues for lifts. Some of the lifts are older and slower but this leads for a very chilled week for skiing.
