Unfortunately we had Föhn conditions in The second week of March, resulting in slushy snow on lower slopes in Lech Skiing in Zürs was much better the greater altitude of 1700+ metres helped greatly Run 144 was in good condition and relatively quiet Red which helped link into the lift system to travel to StAnton Run 145 was a great Blue warm up run especially in the morning, often empty Itineraries 170 and 172 accessed via Madloch offering spectacular views and decents to Zug which then links back to Ober Lech, these were no more difficult than Red runs during our stay, we also used this run to link to Warth, having previously stayed at StAnton it was good to explore Warth and its excellent intermediate terrain, rather than arriving eating lunch and returning to StAnton We stayed at Boutique Hotel Erzberg a very traditional hotel with excellent food and hospitality only 50 meters away from the ski lift, the hotel has an arrangement with a local ski shop, skis are picked up at 4pm and returned freshly serviced reddy for the next day (ours were back within 2 hours though this may have been exceptional?)

Excellent ski area and linked to Warth & St Anton. A must try for lunch with sunny terrace - Kriegeralpe Eis Bar at the Burg for Après ski Hus#8 for traditional fondue/evening meal Overall great resort

We were intimidated before going that it would be too flashy but it's actually just gorgeous. It's so easy to get around, it's so beautiful, the lifts are wonderful, the locals are dreamy. The runs are a delight, the access to the rest of the Arlberg is second to none but coming back to Lech is heaven

Great resort but not the best for beginners. Quote a lot of mogul rides. Good connection to St Ankton. Fun words ski and some nice restaurants in the mountain. Can be pricey

So.much to ski; warth, st christophe, stuben, st anton, ours. Amazing ski lifts even the chair ones are warmed. Lovely people.

I love this ski area. Lech, Oberlech, Warth and Schrocken are well connected. Great lifts allow you to disperse across the area. The runs are well kept, although the run back to the town at the end of the day can get messy! It's high altitude, so snow sure. I love Lech

Amazing Snowboarding Trip in Austria!We recently had an incredible snowboarding trip in Austria. We stayed in budget-friendly accommodation located just 10-15 minutes from the slopes, which was incredibly convenient. The skiing/snowboarding was fantastic, and we had an amazing time exploring the area. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.

Premium resort. Part if amazing, varied arlberg area. Quieter slopes. Great skiing. Relaxing and less touristic resort.

Lech is a fantastic resort if you are looking for great snow and a slightly more relaxed vibe. This is not for party animals, nor the most affordable resort, but that does mean its less crowded and in general a lovely location to go skiing, with access to miles of runs as well as connectivity down to St Anton, which is all about the apre.

Slopes well groomed but lots of cat tracks which is not greay for snowboarders. Good off piste.Very quiet slopes. Food reasonably priced on slopes but much more expensive in the resort. Very simple food and quite bad even in the top restaurants. Extremely overpriced food in the resort. Apres ski much more moderate and quiet than most resorts. L

my favourite area in Europe for skiing. Great network of pistes and delicious food. not too busy. relatively fancy so the prices are not cheap, but worth it.

Fabulous place to learn & much more. Wide open slopes & mixed terrain to suit everyone. Stay in Oberlech if you can, especially if you have kids. Grew up here and was magic.

Lech Zurs am Alberg is a perfect resort for a range abilities it offers a family friendly atmosphere. With a skiable access to the party side of St Anton. The ski area is unbeatable , ability to ski into numerous different towns. Skiing Lech town itself offers a wide variety, beginner - intermediate , with off Piest options and tree runs hidden for you to dig out. A snow park and very regular lifts without big queues.

Lech is super classy and has more cruisy blues than St Anton which makes it a bit more relaxing. Lifts are superb, many heated chairlifts too! Runs into town very mogully at end of the day

Quieter, premium resort with an amazing ski area. Spent a season here and I absolutely loved it for the skiing and the less touristic atmosphere.

I loved skiing in Lech. The resort has a wonderful buzz to it and the runs are great to ski on. It has great connection to other resorts (Zurs and St Anton) so you have the option to fully explore the mountain. Eating out options are fantastic, when I was there I never had a bad meal, and if you're in self catered accommodation there's a well stocked super market.

Lech is hands down one of the best ski resorts Ive ever visited. The slopes are fantastic, with something for everyone, whether youre a complete beginner or a seasoned pro. The White Ring circuit was a highlight for mechallenging but so rewarding, with views that are out of this world. Plus, the lift system is super efficient, so you spend more time skiing and less time queuing. The village itself is picture-perfect, with traditional wooden chalets and a relaxed yet upscale vibe that makes you feel like youre in a winter wonderland. Off the slopes, Lech doesnt disappoint either. The après-ski is more refined than rowdy, which suits me perfectly. I loved kicking back in one of the cozy mountain huts with a warm drink after a day of skiing. The food is incredible tooeverything from hearty Austrian classics to high-end Michelin-starred dining. Accommodation options are great, whether youre after a luxury ski-in/ski-out hotel or something more budget-friendly. All in all, Lech is the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and charm. Ill definitely be back!

Decent food and accommodation, excellent Guided day off piste with whole areas to ourselves. Lucky with the snow levels, but equally its a good altitude. Very welcoming staff and generally around the resort.

Superb ski area - best in Europe in my opinion. Wonderful hotels with far better prices on food and drink than France. Superb lifts and great staff throughout
