Courchevel is a very good ski resort for all standards of skier and when you add the access to the whole of the 3 valleys is an excellent place to ski different runs each day of the week. Lifts can be crowded at times and it is a good idea to take your breaks outside of normal lunch time and ski during the noon to 2.00 pm period. Restaurants can be expensive so so you need to search for the more reasonable ones in the towns. We stayed in 1550 which has a lot of good value family accommodation. La Praz is a beautiful old town and has a great pub, The Elephant, in its centre.

Great skiing area that takes you past a great view of the airport (and sometimes a glimpse of the vips). Some nice well groomed pistes and varied run, with brilliant access to the other resorts close by. By pushing out to the far reaches, there are some nice and quiet runs (time dependent), which makes for sone really good skiing. Overall an excellent place to ski and some nice cafes and restaurants.

Courchevel 1650 is an excellent base for skiing Courchevel and Méribel in the Trois Vallee. Fantastic slopes for all levels and welcoming resort staff. Well connected for lifts. Courchevel 1650 is relatively small with nice, friendly atmosphere. Some older chalets and new modern apartments.
Local free bus link to Courchevel 1850.
Great amenities for groceries, eating out and a big modern leaisure centre.

We started skiing here in 91 and the children grew up on skis in the huge three valleys area (La Tania when children, subsequently 1650 and Meribel). The area is vast with something for everyone - a good reason to keep going back.

Very expensive in the village (and anything on the mountain), but excellent conditions when I went in late December.
Plenty of off-piste terrain to explore with gorgeous views.

Courchevel is quite an large ski area, it has a variety of ski runs for all different abilities. There are plenty of options for wizz kid boarders and skiers, right down to the novice. The ski lifts etc are very good.
The ski schools are very good, and have really experienced instructors, and cater for young children from around 4 or 5 years of age, my kids had a really good experience, the instructor was very patient and skilled at her job, right up to those of advanced years, as long as you can stand up!
It is generally very friendly, and good for families.
It is however, quite an expensive resort/area. If you are on a bit of a budget, venture down the mountain to some of the villages, there are large supermarkets which are better value for money.
On the whole, an enjoyable experience.

Amazing runs, the best place we have ever been. Great accommodation at Fahrenheit 7. Lots of runs. I recommend the 3 valleys lift pass, so many amazing resorts and runs. Ski lockers are really useful if staying further away from the lift.

My family and I stayed in Courchevel. It was fantastic! The people, the runs, the apres, the beautiful area, it was all great! The one thing I would say, is it (in my opinion) is one of the better places to go skiing/snowboarding and the price reflects that. So accommodation is quite pricey, especially if you want to be near the lift. But other than that, you seriously cant go wrong!

A wonderful resort suitable for all abilities .So much variety of runs and plenty of off piste.Major feature is the link to the Three Valleys lift system , the best in Europe if not the whole skiing world ! Plenty of varied spares ski from party at Follie Douce to fine dining restaurants My favourite village is La Tania , perfect situation , great runs to the village and super cool spares bars . The highlight for me was to experience Parapente from the top of Col de Loze ,over the trees and pistes for my last run of my last day last year downto La Praz . What a place !!!!!

Really enjoyed my time in Courchevel, perfect place to be over Christmas and new years! Great food, groomed pistes and very fun apres (la folie douce, cap horn, bagatelle etc). Slightly lower down so can be slushy in the warmer months, definitely recommend getting the 3 valleys lift pass and skiing over to Val Thorens/ Meribel.

Great mix of blue and red runs, with some challenging black runs if you look for them! Some of the blue runs have stunning views, with trees lining either side. Very expensive towns and restaurants however, with a large amount of high end designer shops dominating the towns.
