Went with a group of friends. Resort was good and slopes not too bad. Quite low down so it can get very icy at the bottom. When it's windy, they close the lifts so it's impossible to get back from meribel or menuires without getting the bus which only runs 4x a day Not much apres ski but p bar was very good with love music

Great satellite resort for the 3 valleys - much cheaper and has a lot of charm with direct access to Méribel and Les Menuires. Good range of restaurants, from traditional alpine to 3 Michelin stars. Small après scene but still some decent live music at some bars throughout the week. Easy access from Geneva and regular buses running to Les Menuires and Val Thorens.

Lovely village with small amount of shops and restaurants. As a first time skier I had lessons which where great. They helped me from a complete beginner who was nervous, to going out confident down a blue run. The lifts weren't to packed this was beginning of January, and loads of locations to go and explore.

Great resort. So much to do and really family friendly area. Not too expensive but this is due to it being quite far out with the three valleys and if youre planning to do venture out far, definitely keep an eye on the time so you can get back!

Been coming here years - a great family friendly ski resort town. Once you take the gondola then the chair you have access to meribel and les menuires. After taking 2/3 more lifts you can access most of the three valleys - love it!

Excellent options around & to get quickly up to Val Thorens & towards Orelle. The latter is like skiing on a moon scape. Great local restaurants & decent accommodation. Speed lifts now have made access easier & faster than in the 1990s ! Cheers. Mike

We stayed at saint martin de belleville was a beautiful little village the les 3 vallees ski resort was huge loads of ski runs. It was quite busy most of the time but we did manage to find a few runs certain times of the day we're quieter. We had a great time and would recommend you go and experience the 3 valleys resort. The food we had at saint martin de belleville was exceptional, would go back again 100%.

This was my second ski holiday - we stayed at with family as they own an apartment, it was in a great location! The shops and restaurants were only a couple of minutes away each way. There is a fantastic little British pub and they did cocktail, some well known English drinks, they always had something on in the evening weather that was from music to bingo. Getting to ski lifts was easy and only a 5 minute walk with all your gear on, ski lifts and gondolas were all very clean and comfortable and looked very modern and some of the views are incredible!

Really nice and pretty resort. Quieter than others I have stayed in with a couple of nice apres bars but nothing super lively with pumping music. There is great access to the whole of the three valleys from Saint Martin despite being lower than a lot of them. There are some lovely restaurants in the with delicious food in the town as well as up the mountain. The town has all the things needed for a shop, including a great butchers and super friendly ski shops. Would highly recommend a stay here.

We Ski at Saint Martin De Belleville nearly every year now for the past 20 years so I may be a little bit biased, However, it is one of the nicest little ski villages ever in one of the biggest ski areas in the world. If youre looking for a little home for home in the three valleys then its definitely without question the place for you. Theres all the things you could possibly need from a butcher, a cheese shop, a bakery and two small supermarkets, so wether youre self catered or catered theres plenty of options. The people in the village are genuinely the friendliest people on earth and nothing is too much trouble from helping you with your French and ordering to showing you where places are. The majority of places to stay are nearly all ski in ski out however if there not, you rarely have to walk more than 70 yards to a slope! The skiing around Saint Martin is brilliant however if you just get a local pass it allows you acces to not just Saint Martin but the entire valley, which includes Val Thorens and Les Menuires so plenty of fun to be had on the slopes. An entire 3 valleys pass is also available for a little more so an absolute abundance of skiing. This truly is one of the best places on earth. There are also plenty of shops to rent and hire equipment too however id strongly recommend intersport right on the bottom of the piste next to the gondola as our family has being going to Olivier for years, he always gives a top mark service, he even allowed me to test a brand new pair of skis this year too! Really top service to be had all around the resort, we literally have no reason to go anywhere else these days.

St Martin is one of the smaller, quainter villages in the 3 valleys. It retains its true authentic French alpine feel, unlike Les Menuires or Val Thorens further up the valley. It is more family oriented than the other towns, with limited party apres options, however there are plenty of fun bars available if desired. It is also technically possible to ski all the way from the Val T Folie Douce without catching a lift, however this would require a lot of poling and would take ages. St Martin had its own express lift service, which easily greats access to Meribel and Les menuires once at the top, opening up the whole of the 3 valleys. This is the largest interconnected ski area in the world and offers plenty for everyone. The skiing remaining soley in the st Martin area is limited - there are one or two good runs, but mainly you will be venturing outside of this area into the rest of the 3 valleys. Due to being a smaller town, there tends to be less crowds than places like Val Thorens. The main run back into st Martin is an easy blue, which can get a bit slushy at the bottom due to the relatively low elevation, but usually offers no problems at all. Taking the gondola down at the end of the day is a viable option too. The 3 valleys offers an awesome ski experience- there is powder, back country options and almost limitless terrain - I have been 7 times and have still not done every run. There are great snow parks, ranging from beginner to enormous expert only halfpipes/jumps. The 3 valleys may well be the best resort in france, and st Martin is a great place to be based to ski it!
