Great resort. Huge area, as links to Val Disere. Great diverse area. Lots of blues and reds and the area above Val has a huge among of greens - really wide pistes.

very good fun week with friends with ski in ski out chalet and blue birds everyday. high resort made the snow exceptional and never had any slush, for march a massive bonus

Tignes and Val are well known for a reasoncos theyre Ab Fab !!. Runs come in all shapes sizes widths and steepness. Great variety of hardware ski and snowboarding shops. Some great bars and shops as well as supermarkets. Some of the best hotels and chalets ive stayed in when in the alps have been at either of these resorts. Can be a bit pricey but worth every penny! You only get what you pay for . Enjoy!!

Everyday can be different. Lots of variety. Busy in parts but it's possible to avoid if you know the resort. Lifts variable, some queues lengthy with bottlenecks. However it's a great resort and will definitely not disappoint. The toboggan run is awesome, if a little scary! Wacky races adrenaline. Lots of other activities options too eg microlight flight.

I had the pleasure of visiting Tignes, France, in 2024 with my high school friends, and it turned out to be one of the best trips we've taken together. As a beginner snowboarder, I was a little nervous at first, but Tignes was the perfect place to learn and enjoy the slopes at my own pace. Tignes is a fantastic destination for anyone looking to enjoy snowboarding, especially if youre a beginner. The resort offers a mix of challenging terrain for more experienced riders while also providing safe, easy-going slopes for newcomers like me. Plus, the atmosphere is friendly, the views are breathtaking, and there's always something to do, both on and off the slopes. I left Tignes feeling more confident on my snowboard, and Im already looking forward to my next trip back! Whether youre a beginner or an expert, Tignes truly offers something for everyone.

I had a really fab time when i went to tignes. it was perfect for our group of 6 friends of mixed abilities. some had ski school lessons which were great and others went off skiing for the day. it has great apres and one of my favourite resorts in the apls!

Tignes is a wonderful High altitude snow sure resort with a huge ski area that will keep all levels of skiers happy for week after week.

Great time in Tignes. It is so easy to jump on the slopes and from the town you have multiple options on where to go. Great Apres ski scene and wonderful restaurants. Even if you are not a avid skier/snowboarder the town and area are definitely worth a visit. Can't wait to go back!

Had a great week at Tignes Val Claret - shops, bars and restaurants on doorstep and only a few minutes from slopes. The slopes were amazing, from the greens to the blacks. Plenty of options. Cocorico was amazing. Can't wait to return.

Massive ski area with great wide slopes. Easy access to Val DIsere. Snow quality was excellent due to the high altitude.

Had a fantastic family holiday in February - even in a peak week the lift system coped remarkably well and the pistes were seldom busy

Part of the overall Val dIsère and Tignes ski area, Tignes is slightly less expensive but has a little less après to offer. But still really good. In recent years some up scale hotels have opened which offer luxury at one of France highest resorts at 2100 m. The glacier is a great asset with superb runs back to village of Tignes Claret. Good value self service restaurants at Tignes cuisine next to loop bar and G Spot at Tignes Lac. Good al la carte at Sol top of Chadanne lift amd panorama top of funnerval on way up to grand Motte Glacier.

High level resort so good snow cover investing in lifts & inter resort links Well groomed slops. With potencial off pist snow allowing off many runs. Lots options for eating drinking & live music

Access to the higher slopes from Val Claret gives the best option for quieter slopes and the best conditions. Not much for the beginner as easier slopes also used by better skiers to get access to the lifts. If the snow is good Les Brevieres has great slopes back to the village but its a slog to get across to Val DIsere and back for all but the fitest. Good nightlife at Le Lac and Val Claret but resort can be noisy until well into the early hours. So if you want to get uninterrupted sleep heard for the lower villages. Lifts are largely quick and pistes better maintained than neighbouring Les Arcs. Vast terrain for the better skiers and easy to navigate. Should be on everyones bucket list. A good Folie Douce adds to the appeal.

Tignes Val claret, snow sure with plenty of good areas surrounding the area, great amount of areas to board with a mix of tree runs and good off piste! Lifts are all good and efficient.. top resort

High altitude terrain, snowsure, large area. immense off piste potential. Fast, new lift network. Accommodation can be tiny, dated and overpriced. Increasing options of nicer places to stay. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Avoid peak weeks to miss queues.

Was super cool, lots of slopes and well maintained. Lots of parties and bars on the slopes, the prices are as expected, a bit higher but you are also in a middle of nowhere so make sense

Plenty of accommodation options for various budgets. Huge ski area with loads of space. Great choice off places to eat both on and off the slopes.

We stayed in Val Claret and had a great time with a ski in ski out apartment. Very close to Cocorico

This is a fantastic report that links with Val disere making is a fantastic ski area. 2 hours drive from Chambery airport makes it easily accessible but remember to sort out transfers as they are very limited and expensive unless you choose for a package. For my week the snow was amazing with powder everywhere! By the end of the week I was a broken man skiing every minute that I could. The slopes were amazing and lift efficiently was great. There were some busy times where we had to queue but not for long. We stayed at Le Lavachet just down from Tignes Le Lac. This is a nice small resort and walking distance to the bigger resort of Le Lac. Highly recommend!
