Cervinia is my favourite resort - it is isnt too busy and has an abundance of runs since you have direct access to all of Zermatt as well as Cervinia. Food and drink is good value and the locals are super friendly. The Apres scene isnt huge but everyone goes to the same few places creating an intimate and lively vibe. The resort is high so the season is long and you are likely to have decent snow.

Snowsure resort and snow was excellent in March fresh snow almost every night for a week. Mainly red runs wide and quiet. Lots of mountain bars & restaurants of good quality. We stayed above the main town so not too much experience of the town centre as a bus ride away but there seemed a good selection of bars, restaurants and ski shops. You can ski to Zermatt if weather is suitable and lifts all open as long as you have the relevant pass. Views of the Matterhorn are amazing. Our first visit to Italy with 2 teenage snowboarders who loved the fresh powder and the snowpark.

Ive stayed in cervinia on two occasions now (2022 and 2025). Its a beautiful resort and had the advantage of you being able to ski the Italian side of the Matterhorn but also the Swiss side down to zermatt so you get to ski Switzerland but for a much beeper price than staying at the other side of the mountain. Therefore the range of skiing is pretty good. Im recovering from injury so focused on blues and reds this year and there are plenty, especially if you ski over to Valtourneche. Weather can be unpredictable and cervinia is known for its wind but if the wind is high in cervinia itself you can still get on the slopes by getting a bus to valtourneche so wont miss a day. The lift system is great with relatively few queues and the bottom gondola and telecabine at the base station are usually no more than 15 mins at peak time. There are lots of lovely mountain cafes and there is a growing apres scene on the mountain now in addition to the report where bars like the yeti and Linos are well known for the apres. There are lots of lovely shops in the resort so if you need a day off, there is plenty to wonder around. Le Grotto and the Cime Bianci are probably my favourite little spots to eat with beautiful food, wine and traditional Italian atmosphere. Ive stayed in apartment and hotel accommodation and both were great options. I would definitely recommend it as a resort and will be returning again!

Great connection to Zermatt which really bumps this resort up. Fairly small and can be done in a couple of days but Zermatt really opens it up and is worth it

High, so always good snow conditions. Good range of runs. Wide, fast cruising pistes plus more challenging runs. Ski over to Zermatt, but push on and go quickly, otherwise youll be coming straight back again. Food and service in mountain huts is amazing - find Foyer des Guides, its worth it!

Last time in Cervinia there was no fresh snow so off piste no go. Best thing for me is the high altitude and usually stays cold so pistes stay in great shape. Lift system not on par with Austria but pretty good. Some great long runs like Plateau Rosa to Val toulouche at about 15 K, and of course full area pass take you to Zermatt,

Excellent snow conditions due to resort height. Can be windy which restricts the lifts. Lost half a day because of wind. Very few queues for lifts. Some really nice blues and reds for intermediate skiers. Wide pistes and plenty of options. Apres ski is limited but fun at the Umbrella Bar.

Weather can be variable across the day but always great snow and piste conditions. Good lift and mountain refreshments options . We stayed in a catered hotel with excellent food. It also provided shuttles on demand to and from the bubble station, definitely a worthwhile service.

My favourite ski resort in Europe. I like to ski in two countries. Change different slopes. There is the longest European downhill (22 km) from Klein Matterhorn to Valternouche.

Was a really enjoyable place to ski. Plenty of variety in runs and easy for skiers of differing abilities to stay together and challenge everyone. Loved that you had access across to Switzerland but the cheapness of staying in the Italian side. Cervinia was lovely, plenty of great Italian food and a decent apres scene. Not the most party place but good for a few beers after a day on the slopes.

Very expensive day pass. Good runs to main gondola and restaurants more typical of France than Italy.

Wide groomed pistes that sit on the sunny side of the mountain, so beautiful on a blue sky day. Plenty of beginner and intermediate runs making it a perfect spot for family and children. Didnt experience any lift queues in mid Jan. Piste names are primarily by numbers and colour on the piste map making identification and memorising routes a little difficult. A route red 6 and red 6.0 are different pistes as well, adding further to the difficulty in recognising which path was the planned way to go. This ski resort is connected to the Swiss side to Zermatt with an extra fee on the lift pass. Skiing to Zermatt on red intermediate runs is possible but returning to Cervinia requires the large gondola to be operating so watch out for bad wind and weather! The red 7 piste from Cervinia to Valtournenche is so beautiful with vast views of the mountains. Watch out that there are squat toilets in various mountain restaurants a hark back to the past.

Me and my fiance were first time skiers in such a big resort. We skied 2-3 times in Romania and we wanted to try a bigger ski resort in the Alps. Cannot say how great our experience was. Starting from accomodation, food, ski lifts( I was impressesd by how many ski lifts are there), hundrends of km of slopes for begginers and intermediate skiers like us. As the resort is so big, we chose to go this year again, as we want to see the most of the resort. Plus, whats even greater is that you can ski on Zernat Switzerland aswell, as its right at the border there and buying an international ski pass would get you there. Thats what were going to fo this yearzCannot express myself for off piste or anything as we havent tried anything like that yet. People were friendly in the area, you have big supermarkets in the area. Would 100% recommend this resort to anyone( begginner, intermediate, advanced). Would 100% choose this ski resort for family trips when babies would come.

With the longest ski run in Europe and the Matterhorn whats not to love. Ski in ski out the norm here too. Ski into Zermatt for lunch stopping at the Moet bar on the way. Heaven.
