Overall a great experience! Getting snow passes made it quick and easy for the group because they have multiple check in machines that print out the cards for you. There is a nice little restaurant overviewing the slopes for anytime you need to rest in between runs. Plenty of parking. This year the area did not receive much snow so plan accordingly, I would recipe d months feb-may!!

The ski at Snow Valley resort is overall really good for the price you pay. This resort is very family friendly and they have something to offer for every skill level. The ramps and park obstacles are good and the black diamond runs are enjoyable as well. The lifts are all pretty fast besides the bunny slope lift. The resort could be bigger, the back half of the mountain was closed when I went so that was a bit of a letdown. Overall this resort is a solid 4/5 stars.

It is a great place to learn to ski, but also there are some good places for more experienced riders. It was our place to learn and it was fun! My 3 year old loved running down on my skis.

Just east of big Bear Lake, Snow Valley is great for a day trip from San Diego or LA. Plenty of beginner terrain for the newbies, with a good selection of more challenging runs.

I've been there with my family for a weekend ski trip. It was early season, so few slopes were open. The ones that were open were nice to ride and the staff were very friendly. Looking forward to come back in the future when more snow drops on the slopes.

Really quiet slopes during the weekdays. Its a small resort so you can cover most of it in a day but the pistes are fun and there is plenty of park terrain for all abilities.

Snow valley is one of my favorite places to go for day of skiing. Close the OC and LA makes it a perfect day resort. I love going by myself or with my wife and daughter there's a lot of beginner terrain and the back side of the mountain has amazing backcountry and off piste fun with couple black runs as well.
It is located outside of any town so no restaurants close by. You would have to travel to Big Bear for accommodation or any good restaurant options.

Small resort between San Bernardino and Big Bear. The slopes are more beginner friendly and the lift tickets are cheaper than the resorts in big bear. If you are a beginner trying to pick up snowboarding or skiing, this is the place to go.
