My favorite front range ski resort. Easy to get to and a great family friendly vibe. It can get a little icy without fresh snow.

Eldora Resort is on the smaller side, but it is less crowded than most other Colorado resorts. Beautiful views of Boulder and the Cont. Divide. Not many options for hotels or food in the town, but Boulder is a 45 min. drive away and has a lot more options. Very family-friendly and lots of options for green kiddie hills. terrain park has lots of variety and a half-pipe on occasion. Excellent for people who want variety and a smaller resort.

I have worked and skied Eldora for a season and loved the place for its family fun vibe. Although the runs are short the trees are great and its mostly very quiet, making if a great place to go to avoid I-70 traffic.
