Good side country access and fun in bounds runs. On powder days they leave a lot of the runs ungroomed on powder days which is nice but mid day The whole mountain is choppy. Beer is expensive.

LOVE night skiing here, significantly cheaper and though it is cold, it is very fun. Well-lit slopes and great snow. 5 stars.

Lift Efficiency
The two chairlifts are slower than an amusement park boat ride. The mountain isn't in the middle of nowhere, but approximately 15 miles north of it., off U.S. 20 and Fairfield, Idaho. The cafeteria and bar and bathrooms fit into your average middle school classroom. But nevermind all that, the place is fun, as the locals happily tell you. Nicely groomed runs from the 1,000-foot peak on to the base, with powder stashes between them. Dogs run free in the parking lot. The girl who runs on the rental shop has a smile that could light up all of Idaho, where she's lived all her life. The lift ticket is free with IndyPass, or otherwise a pittance. Real soldiers should have it so good.
