Great Divide in Montana is a locally-owned ski area known for its friendly atmosphere and diverse terrain. The resort offers over 100 trails, catering to a wide range of abilities, with a focus on intermediate and advanced skiers. Great Divide is celebrated for its unique night skiing options and creative terrain features. The resort's laid-back vibe and affordable prices make it popular among locals. Great Divide's snowmaking capabilities ensure good skiing conditions throughout the season. The on-site facilities are modest but adequate, with a focus on the skiing experience. Great Divide is a great option for those looking for a less commercialized, authentic skiing experience.

Reviews

This is a small, family-friendly mountain with great terrain when the snow is good. While it doesn't have long straight runs like you see in many resorts, if technical difficulty from narrow steep shoots or trees, or lack of crowds are what you're going for, this place is the best. It has six lifts and I believe 1400 acres to ski. It's pretty amazing. It has that small town ski hill feel. It's not a resort. You can't stay on the mountain but town is 20-30 minutes away. I absolutely love it and it's my home away from home. They also usually have live music on Friday and Saturdays which is fun too. It also usually has early and late season skiing. Portions of the mountain have man-made snow, other portions have only natural snow, making it great to tune up your legs.

The great divide is an awesome place in Montana to get out in the mountains and enjoy the fresh air. They offer night skiing which is awesome. Their staff are awesome and engaging. Their food is awesome too. Their runs consist of everything a ski hill should. The terrain parks are amazing. There are so many boxs, rail, and jumps, etc. It is an overall great place to get some fresh air and enjoy the mountain.

It is a good resort with a little bit of everyone but with there lack of snow compared to surrounding resorts they have to make most of if leading to very icy conditions in early and late season
