Night skiing is super cheap and the snow quality is great 10/10 would recommend! Was a great place to teach some friends how to ski and snowboard and also have some fun myself.

Powderhorn is a great mountain to bring your friends and family to. It has beautiful tree runs that shoot out into amazing mogul fields. The lifters are always so nice and welcoming. It is an amazing mountain for any level skier/boarder!

It's a great mountain with many runs for all types of people. The snow is very good and the mountain is always getting things added like parks, jump, small trails. There are many things to do like easy trails or big fast ones. Going through the trees is also nice. Good lighting for night skiing and a great price for it

Powder Mountain was definitely the "uncrowded experience." We hardly ever had to wait in line during the day & the lifts were fast. Cobabe Canyon had fresh, untouched powder every day, even though it didn't snow during the duration of our 4 days there. Night skiing was crowded and icy, but every other part of the experience was phenomenal. Tickets were only $110 per day & we didn't even get close to skiing the whole mountain in four full days - there's so many runs, and so many options for each skill level. We will be back!

This is one of Utahs best kept secrets! Powder Mountain is a gem that provides a lot of intermediate, terrain, and a lot of off piste skiing and riding. They do not have a snowmaking system, so all of their snow is natural. The lifts are spread over a large area of terrain. If youve got the bucks to spend take the snowcat to Lightning ridge on deep powder days. The road to the resort can be sketchy of big snow days so make sure youve got a 4x4 with good snow tires. If you dont take powder country to the bus pick up you are missing some of the funnest runs youll ever have!

I have been working at Powder Mountain for 4 years now. I love it. It brings out the love in snowboarding/skiing . Biggest acreage ski resort in Northern America . Uncrossed by design . The coolest natural features . Plenty of variety in all aspects. Has big mountain , and small children friendly areas. The vibe is the coolest part about the resort . It has a family friend feel to it where most other resorts feel cooperate . There are two other ski resorts within 10-20 miles so its a great spot to vacation . Beautiful area in Eden Utah

Powder Mountain has to be skied to be enjoyed. Great vibe all around and very friendly staff. Appreciated the daily limit on the number of skiers and riders. The versatility of runs is a big plus. Don't go home without hitting up the Powder Keg for an apres ski beverage and wind down! Hope to be back soon to see the changes being made.

Despite deficiencies, such as a number of long, slow chairs that are cold and windy, this is THE place in northern Utah on a powder day. Not an enormous amount of steeps but there is enough to keep things interesting. On (the many) low viz days, there are plenty of trees runs.

Powder mountain is a bit unusual. Its relatively remote and therefore struggles with restaurants, hotels, etc. It also has some antiquated infrastructure (slow lifts, dated lodges). However, for that reason, it is tremendously uncrowded. Therefore, the value of this resort depends on what youre looking for. If you want spectacular groomed runs, pedicured terrain parks, and perfectly spaced moguls along with great great lunch options, this is not the place for you. If you want untracked powder lines for days and days, happy to eat a bar for lunch on the lift, and drink beers in a great bar afterwards, its nirvana.

I have skid at over 20 resorts in the US all the way from NC - OR. I have skid some of the greatest resorts like Targhee and Park City. I started skiing when I was 12 and am now 50. I still love it and take my family with me. Half are now snowboarders though.
What I love about powder mountain, and I have skid there several times, is that the snow conditions are always amazing and its never very crowded. Unfortunately they are making several of their runs private next year and so this is possibly the last year many of us will be able to ski the full resort, so if you can get there before the season ends, Id say do it. It will be worth the trip.

Powder Mountain has been one of the most unique ski resorts Ive ever seen. On the week there was never a line, not even in the bigger lifts. After storms you could find powder everywhere and for 5 days after the end of the storm if you know where to find it. Paradise and lightning ridge have some pretty crazy rock terrain but theres also lifts with good begginer areas. The trees on hidden lake and Marys brought out some of the most fun experiences. What this resort lacks is a proper terrain park they took away a couple of years ago and a bigger apre skiing culture, but its a very unique familiar and local spot

Pow Mow is has great terrain with a terrible lift system. Most of the best terrain will require 3 lift rides to lap. Powder makes up for this by limiting the number of skiers on the mountain making fresh powder last for weeks.

Powder mountain is one of the greatest resorts out there because the name is very fitting. They have a set number of tickets sold each day so the mountain doesnt get super crowded which is amazing. The food is decent and still expensive but not as much as other resorts. Lodges are nothing to be proud of but who cares if youre actually there to ski. Endless off piste terrain and a decent night skiing hill. Day tickets are too expensive but night ski tickets are totally worth it at only 20 bucks. Biggest complaint is their terrible lifts. Only one detachable chairlift and the rest are slow and sketchy.

A great tucked away resort that limits ticket sales to 1,500 a day on an already huge mountain. Super family friendly with it being not too difficult and usually having some pretty good snowfall. There are some steep declines as well as gulleys and jumps in trees but not too many compared to other resorts.

After years of both the EPIC and IKON pass, I opted for just the powder mountain pass this year. This mountain is unbelievable and so underrated. Have never once waited in a lift line, theres quite literally ~powder~ every time due to capped people allowed daily, and half of the runs feel like Im backcountry skiing. This resort is huge and by far my favorite, and as a bonus, the staff and community are a real ski community who care for the sport and the people who come to shred. Cant say enough good things

way less busy than most utah resorts, super good snow, tons of terrain, just kind of isolated away from amenities
